Did JKRowling actually license a Kindle version? The last time I looked at any of her news (and it was quite a while ago), she hadn’t yet licensed any electronic versions.
You know, Harry Potter books and the stuff Dean Koontz writes are not that far apart. Neither are believable and both are usually a hundred pages too long…

Wouldn’t you know I would pick a book that you can’t download on a Kindle. Or can you?

If your Kindle crashes, does that mean you have to re-purchase your books all over again? (One reason not to buy a kindle)

Bill Hinds: “Wouldn’t you know I would pick a book that you can’t download on a Kindle.”
It’s an easy bluff, Bill. Just pass it off as Peri’s mistake, not your own.
(By the way, did you know that the Wikipedia entry for Cleats doesn’t list Peri among the recurring characters? Maybe she needs a higher profile.)

I just looked at the Wikipedia page. That’s kind of cool. I especially like the list of cameos.

From your lips to Jo’s ears. The Scottish book is do out, eventually. A sort of Potterverse encyclopedia.
