That’s a coincidence. I always imagined Monty had a phlegmy sinus sound to his vowels. Garfield, on the other hand, sounds completely different to what I imagined. And as for Snoopy…

Cyber (or do you prefer… “Tattooed”, “Cyber,” or..hmmm… it feels kinda rude to call you “Idiot”… but funnier) …

I just realised from your comment that I don’t think about it that way.

If a particular voice in an animated comic strip, or even a film of a book, doesn’t match what I’ve always “heard” , I don’t think “Oh, I was wrong about Snoopy,” or “Gee, I didn’t think Lizzie Bennet had such a soft voice.”

No, my first thought is always “They got that wrong.”

Cos of course, I know what they should sound like, after all the years I’ve read them.

I’ve never been to Frank Caliendo’s house. So I can’t comment.

We hear voices in our heads do we people? I remember as a child seeing pictures of Santa, but I never thought when I got to meet him that he would smell like booze.

They don’t have to get a dummy when you’re right there.

When I hear people on the radio, I imagine what they look like. I’m always way off!

Monty needs to just play along and not to take Pilsner seriously.
