A lot of time the kids that were picked on were the ones that didn’t quite fit in. Kids (and adults) can be like vultures and go after those they see as different. What is interesting is that some of those kids that were different use that to become people of interest. Think artist, etc.
Calvin’s attitude was different. He can forsee better than Michael. About Moe the bully: “Years from now, when he is in jail, and I am successful and happy, I hope I am still immature enough to gloat.”
I had a verbal bully at work once – the type that enjoy putting others down. So, one morning I asked him if he were feeling well today.“I’m feeling fine, why do you ask?”“Well, here it is 10 am already, and you haven’t hurled a single insult all morning!”The laughter from the other coworkers was priceless!

I wonder that too, Michael, in Calvin’s case with Moe.

How do bullies pick their targets? I mean what biased, jerky scale is employed?

One swift kick to the bullocks.Never mind about “fighting fair.” Bullies never fight fair their own g^$%d^$%@d selves.

Well now, just maybe if you hadn’t hit him in the head with your eraser, you could have avoided the whole thing.

Nothing funny about bullying!

Bullies only understand cold hard force. When my Karate skills didn’t deter them, I resorted to booby-traps. They soon left me alone.

Didn’t say is was, but if you know you’re dealing with a bully, why would you do anything to provoke him?
