Lucy, dogs have been known to do a lot of amazing things. They provide companionship, assistance to the blind and handicapped, aid law enforcement, protect people from intruders, rescue people from drowning and burning buildings, etc. I’d say they deserve more than a week.
One good reason..Lassie! Countless people have been saved by that heroic collie.. Need a long list, Lucy? Rather, need to pick out which volume explaining one good reason..
There’s so many dogs that are celebrities. Not counting Lassie, and Snoopy, there Asta, Toto, Rin-Tin-Tin, Duke from Bush’s beans, Eddie from Frasier, Tramp of My Three Sons…the list goes on and on. Happy Dog’s Day, Snoopy. That was great how you told Lucy off.
