There’s a store here in Tucson called Metro Gnome music. The Metro Gnomes in their logo look like garden gnomes except they play the tuba and violin.

Oh man, I feel dumb. I had to read that twice to get it. And I studied his linguistics stuff in college.

This series is, IMHO, among the funniest things I have ever read in comics. This gnome thing runs for 4 days and just gets funnier. I copied it when it originally ran and keep them together on my office wall to read when I need the pick-me-up. Enjoy this week, folks, this is GF at its best :)
