Ripley's Believe It or Not! Although it has a vision range of nearly 350 degrees, a horse can't see directly in front of its own face! Two-thirds of the world's 13,000 flatworm species are parasites - including the well known tapeworm! In May 2011, a man from Hanover, Germany, died from mercury poisoning after being stabbed with an umbrella tip by an unknown assailant!

Obviously the work of Oswald Cobblepot!Sometimes I question the use of boldface in this comic. “A man”? Wow, I would’ve thought a woman or a child for sure.

No way anyone died from mercury poisoning with just a stab from an umbrella. Maybe from the stab wound but not from mercury.

It’s no wonder they’re called blinders. The horse can’t see while wearing them. :o)

It’s time for the tapeworm to measure up and take responsibility for himself.

Dimethyl mercury is the only mercury compound toxic enough to kill in such a small dose (about 2 drops), and the primary risk is from inhaling the vapors. Polonium or ricin is a more likely culprit.
