I remember fractions from fifth grade. Still, in eighth grade I had classmates who didn’t understand what 3 divided by 5 was. I think we should have visuals instead of abstracts. For example, take three pies and divide them by halves to get six halves. 3/1/2 = 6! We really need visuals in differential equations and linear algebra!
