Cilantro is not just for Valentine’s Day anymore!

TWO…. not one but TWO…. very ex boyfriends of mine, years apart, gave me cheap yellow daisies for Valentine’s Day … actually one time might have been my birthday…

But both said something to the effect that red roses were trite, and I seemed more the daisy type.

Epic fail.

Gladiolus?

One intensely annoying “boyfriend” I had in college brought me a big cheap-glass bowl filled with Brach’s chocs that he had emptied out of their plastic bags. It was the clingfilm that clinched it; he was just being cheap.

Pharmakeus ….actually I’m not sure how he feels about it.

Maybe he’s glad, maybe not.

I’d love to receive some cilantro this year.

Dandelions can be festive too!

My wife’s ex-husband gave here a broom for Valentine’s Day.

Hey… don’t get me wrong.I’ve never been high maintenance.

It wasn’t really the daisies; it was telling me I’m the daisy type, unsuited to being given red roses.

I got a toaster for Valentine’s day once and I thought it was sweet…it meant he listened when I moaned that mine didn’t work.

But he didn’t say I was the electric appliance type.

If someone gave me cilantro for Valentine’s day, they wouldn’t be my valentine for very long!

If someone gave me cilantro I would make salsa.
