When he asked how long he’d been playing, I semi randomly thought of the Goosebumps book “The Haunted Mask.” Specifically, I thought of the scene where Carly Beth is asked how many times she’d put on the mask and her fate depended on the answer.
I don’t know if this arc will be as horror story like but it’s what I thought of
