Now now….this was real good…cat can be a paid for his storytelling…..

Oh dear!

That’s what raptors do. I love the pretty birds at my feeders and around the flowers in the garden, but I also admire the beautiful Red Tail Hawks at their nest. (have to admire what dedicated parents they are and how beautifully they maintain their feathers.

We had about a half dozen turkeys in the back yard at 0645 this am. Later a red tailed hawk on the deck eying a squirrel.

Lived in the suburbs of old DC for nearly 50 years and love the wildlife that comes to visit me.

Except for groundhogs and too many deer. Neighborhood young man is allowed to bow hunt the deer and took a 9 point buck out last year.

I took out the groundhog with a 9mm.

My son had a fox with babies in his back yard last year, back in IL. I had a roadrunner visit my patio last year, but mostly just birds (which I enjoy) and way too many feral cats (who someone may call a “pet”) but they aren’t if they spend so much time in my yard!!

DAZZ, And I used to always have dogs until circumstances had me rescue some kittens, and then I had both, and for the moment, I just have cats, but want to get another dog or two.
