Well, they are both, good, down to earth boys, so one would expect a play firmly grounded in fact, with nothing worn away by triteness.

Well done, Petey. Alice, go to your room and don’t come out until I tell you.

By the way, Alice, my dog is half pug, half Boston terrier - which makes him a “bugg” (not kidding).

Wow, Petey’s really coming into his own! I’ve never seen him so excited in my life. Actually, I don’t ever remember seeing him excited.

And Alice - she’s having a bad patch right now, but some of the comments about her don’t sound much different from her. It might be good to remember that Richard is drawing a pre-schooler. Pre-schoolers are not known for their impulse control - but they do mature. Most of the time, I like Alice.

We’ve needed a new theater critic since Frank Rich switched to politics. Petey’s teacher seems to fit the bill nicely.

Alice just isn’t much of a dog person. She wants to, I mean, kids are supposed to like dogs, right? At least puppies. But the big ones are vicious beasts & the little ones are stupid bugs. Be one with your inner preschooler. Start with pie.

chikuku, are you sure you don’t mean the CHO family? In Asia, it’s normal to put the family name first.
