I was wondering about that. Not even in the rec leagues do they give out a trophy per game. But I don’t think that matters for Alice. Or maybe they fast-forwarded to the end of the season. After all Petey did give Alice his shin guards.

I’m thinking end of season too. When I was a kid, all the kids got a basic trophy at the end of the season. My sister got a fancy trophy one year, but the rest of the time they were pretty plain.

There’s not an English speaking 4-year-old in the world that doesn’t know who Popeye is! And they know that he eats spinach, too!
