Mom: Okay, Petey! You're all signed for Cartoon Camp! Petey: It'll all be the same as last year, right? Mom: Probably. You've got the same teacher. Petey: And the kids'll all be the same kids, in the same classroom, right? Mom: Do you want the same bee to get in your classroom as last year? Petey: A bee. It doesn't have to be the same exact bee. That'd be asking for too much.
Oh, Petey! As much as you would like, you cannot dwell in the safely, reassuringly predictable past. Go boldly into the future! Cartoon camp is sure to be fun (at least for us out here)!
