Kevin: Miss Bliss, I don't get it. Who is Ms. Sloppysmock? Miss Bliss: I am, Kevin! Ms. Sloppysmock is my artistic secret identity! Whenever I put on this old, paint-stained smock I found in the supply closet, I become an avatar of the creative impulse, endowed with arts and crafts skills far beyond those of most mortals! Alice: Does this mean she's going to be fighting crime? Miss Bliss: Okay, class, let's get to our new craft project!
The problem is that adults are idiots. And when idiots try to mimic the over-active imaginations of children to try to blend in, they get it wrong. You can tell when they get it wrong because their “play-acting” always has a moral or an ulterior motive behind it. “Real children” don’t need that. Real children just need a bedsheet for a cape, and then some crime to fight. Stupid adults. “Buckethead-boy to the rescue!”
