Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for November 23, 2012
Transcript:
Alice: Our class guinea pig is so cute! Beni: But he never does anything. Mr.Danders: Ah- Mr.Danders: That is the way of the guinea pig. We respond to stimuli by becoming small lumps of inertia, implacable in our stillness. Alice: Tell me more of this "inertia." I like the sound of it. Beni: I dunno. It smacks of the "bump-on-a-logism" my mom so roundly condemns.
At the library the other day I found “Cul De Sac Golden Treasury: A Keepsake Garland Of Classics” wich had among the first years worth of classics, twenty pages of Sunday water-colored strips that ran before this went intio syndicate. There were a couple "**epic"** Mr Danders adventures. Worth checking out if you can find it.
