So, have we returned to the beginning of the strip, having completed the full cycle of strips that ended circa 2011 when Thompson’s illness forced him to cease creation? I remember when he announced his inability to continue and I realized that we would never see the results of the second cartoon camp (and the continuing adventures of the Otterloops would end). I suppose we must cherish the four years or so of Cul de Sac that we were given, as we mourn the passing of the brilliant Richard Thompson.
