Since cookies with raisins continue to be available, I assume that somebody must like them. I can’t imagine why.

bakery lady should’ve looked twice… what baby that size fits in a stroller that tiny?

Depends on the type of cookie, and also the quality of the raisins. I happen to like raisins in oatmeal cookies, but ONLY if the raisins are on the chewy side, not ones that pop and squish like a fat bug.

Well, it’s the lady’s own fault for giving her one with raisings instead of chocolates. She should know children better and what are their common interests.

We go through a lot of raisins in our house. We both like them, and hubby is allergic to chocolate.

I’m guessing Richard Thompson-signed cakes are getting pretty rare now.

Nothing wrong with a raisin-topped oatmeal cookie! But there is something wrong with a sassy four-year-old who insists on being given a ride in a baby’s stroller. Madeline, it’s time to lay down the law, not just rebuke Alice’s bad manners…..

I am made absolutely queasy by the sight of children of grade school age riding in shopping carts, while their mother struggles to push the little entitled trolls around the store. First, shoes in the shopping basket is just a YECHY thought; second, seeing children behave like they’re still infants portends a loooooong-delayed age of adult responsibility and is really revolting.

I know I’m in the minority, but I like cookies with raisins more than cookies with chocolate chips. Yes, heresy, surely.

I enjoy a good oatmeal raisin cookie, plus I can sort of convince myself that it’s healthy based on the presence of oatmeal. But anything with nuts and butterscotch leaves me powerless to resist.
