where are Captain Nemo and Ned Land and the rest of the “Nautilus” crew when you need them to liberate Petey from Alice’s book?

In my head, Ernesto sounds like Martin Prince from The Simpsons.

One of my favorites.

Pop up books are always prized by the younger set. :P

I’ll have to check with my local libraries to see if any of them have that particular volume.

Poor Petey. First a giant flower, now a giant squid.

Read it anyway, Petey. Ernesto has his opinion, but you don’t have to go along with him.

Alice always goes for the BIG splash – nothing watered down there.

If Ernesto mentions Tolkien, and Petey doesn’t know who that is – does that prove Ernesto is REAL?

Did Ernesto actually just say “LOL” or was he really laughing out loud? Funny how those acronyms have incorporated themselves into our language.

I imagine Ernesto’s voice as that of True Blue Odie, King Leonardo’s right-hand man.

Alice, show that book to Ernesto.

This has not been a good day for Petey. First Ernesto humiliates him, then Alice nearly annihilates him!

I hope Petey doesn’t lose his love of libraries and books just because of these little incidents….
