Wisdom from The Traveling Wilburys: ’I’ve been fobbed off, and I’ve been fooledI’ve been robbed and ridiculedIn day care centres and night schoolsHandle me with care’
Wasn’t there a duck-shaped potato in a Dick van Dyke episode? IIRC, he was auditioning for a television show because the “moles” on his back made a shape (bell?) and they turned out to be scars instead. Meanwhile, a dog “that never eats” ate the head off of the duck-shaped potato. For some reason, I never forgot that episode.

Nara’s parents must have quite the shopping trips when coming across spuds looking like water fowl (or they’re growing them).

Would those be spucks?

Now a potato shaped duck, that might be interesting.

Alice is excellent at spontaneous creative thinking. :D

Oh should have let her imagination go and run with the presentation, and see where it takes her. Original thought and such.

I’m surprised she didn’t bring in the robot, er, epergne.

Nara apparently came across a flock of ducks that had the bad fortune of looking into the face of the legendary Spudusa… ㋡

No one has a McNugget shaped like a pirates boot?

when I taught pre-school my class did show-n-share. I would have let her have the floor because that is delightfully creative…but only once.

Should’ve brought the epergne.

Come unprepared for Sharing Time, get sat down, Alice. It’s the Way of the World.
Besides, Nara’s duck-shaped potato is better by far!
Phbbt!

Sharing time? Sharing anything is Alice’s worst subject.

It’s all about the provenance, not the condition.

Gotta give her props for improvisation.
