I’m afraid a ceramic moose won’t last long in Alice’s hands.

Another Christmas gone and still no moose to grace our mantle…

That marmalade is toast!

A Møøse once bit my sister.

“Hey, Petey, watch me pull a Sugar Plum from this Marmalade…”

Petey smiled! Probably because Alice will break the moose, but still, he smiled!

“Can I play with your Moose” has to be a pretty rare phrase.

I was feeling pretty good about my presents until I read this one – I did not get a ceramic moose…sigh…

Maybe, Petey, you can swap that marmalade for something from Dill! He can always use something to enhance his stickiness!

I love it when Petey draws: like the wreath is not just a circle as most kids would make it but just what a kid’s beginning attempts at 3D would look like. Notice the hand drawn borders and the two panels with no borders. Genius.

Petey sort of likes marmalade? A food? Really, Petey?

What’s so bad about marmalade?

It’s hard to get bored with your presents when your sweet spot is driving in the boring lane. We probably won’t hear anything from Petey for some time as he slowly reads Little Neuro, at about one page per day.

Happiness is…Petey and a new “Little Neuro” book. Not even the spectre of ALICE can overwhelm that stout defensive line!

I am chagrined to admit that it took me many years to realize Little Neuro was an homage/parody to/of Little Nemo.
