For once, Alice actually has some good advice. Marcus and Dill must have opposite lives. Marcus is smothered by Motherly attention, while Dill is hardly noticed, and it seems to bother him. I don’t think I have ever seen him so angry before.

A four-year old preschooler whose Mom “finishes a book every week” and yet the Epic Adventures of Marcus number only 23 volumes? Something’s fishy here!

Anyway, though Alice is sympathetic, Dill couldn’t care less about Marcus and his weird Mom. Recess is near!

Alice has the right idea; but who says it has to be representational, anyway? The treny artists call their work Untitled or Untitled #29, and the critics read into it what they will.

Dil had him a real nice Little Yellow Bird drawn up there, and then his Dil-ness kicked in. Watch his eyes get manic.
