I think allowing comments from the gallery makes sharing time more interesting. No one wants to listen to a monologue about one tiny plastic sword. So, anyway, once I got a little lemon napkin in a foil pack, for sticky hands and jelly caddies!
It’s like our KoffeeKlatch at MCD’s after our fitness class. No sooner does one start a topic, then someone interrupts with: “the same here” and off she goes on hers, and then another one interrupts, and it comes back to me “…as I was sayin’…” And they never hear my story as we’ve finished our coffees and we gotta go on with the rest of the day…
Under today’s idiotic “zero tolerance” rules (actually “zero thought or accountability” rules), she’d be expelled for bringing a weapon to school; actually happened to a kid who brought a 1" plastic G.I. Joe bayonet.
