I had an older friend that I used to take out to coffee, and he invariably had his shirt buttoned incorrectly. It was clearly a sign of Alzheimer’s disease. Sadly, he died within 8 months, totally unaware of where he was or who his friends and family were.
I’m one who always had trouble matching up a given button to the corresponding buttonhole—still do, sometimes. (You’d think they could be labeled with numbers or something…) It seemed to me that mothers and schoolmarms didn’t realize we can’t all see our own fronts. We do better with a low-hung mirror, but there isn’t often one available at recess time.

You do, Dill, you do! Love when a Cul De Sac strip comes up that I haven’t seen before.

Leave it to Dill to not be buttoned up or buttoned down, but buttoned sideways!

I have to ‘fix’ my husband frequently, too.
