Hey, cdward – If you went to college after high school, you were a kid. Until you’ve been out of college and on your own a couple of years, you’re STILL a kid. (And get off my lawn! Daaaag-nabbit…)
A lot of kids can’t even imagine a world without MP3s and I pods. I mentioned to my students that we didn’t have MP3s and MP3 players until I was in college and he blurted out, “What? I had one when I was 5!”
Oh my so many songs, “Sweet Child of Mine” - Guns & Roses, “Jump” - Van Halen, “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” - Poison, “Lady” - Kenny Rogers, most anything by AC/DC, Lionel Ritchie, Barry White, Whitesnake, Phil Collins, Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, oh geeI better stop, I could list a WHOLE lot of bands and singers!
CD’s what about 8 tracks oh the good old days start with 20.00 dollars get tank of gas .movie with pop corn and drink then a burger and shake and still have money left
CDs? I still have some of my music on cassette tapes, and I grew up with 78s and 45s so forgeddabodit! Today was 2nd day with taxes and finished, but no time for surfing and past my bedtime now.

I loved Talking Heads, especially “Once In A Lifetime.”
But my favorite might be Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.” Also The Clash’s “Rock the Casbah.”
But I wasn’t a kid… those were my college years.

Being in my late 40’s- Only in my lifetime is it scary to know that “CD’s” are already becoming a thing of the past.
