He went next door to buy soap and when he returned his wash was out and someone else was doing the wash on his dime(s). After gathering his laundry he bought a packet of Black dye…
I still occaisonally have something that gets lint on the rest. I save electricity by hanging my wash year round (it helps that weather seldom reaches freezing).
First time I ever did laundry on my own, I had no clue. Put a NEW red flannel shirt in with my white undershirts and undershorts. Guys in the Navy have NO GOOD REASON to have pink underwear. (I bought a lot of new underwear.)
My husband’s bathrobe, which had been washed a couple times previously, significantly shrank one time when I washed it. Not in hot water or anything like that.
I found out on Friday that the colored hair spray my kids used for crazy hair day at school does not come out well in the wash. Brown towel is now green-grey, good thing it was only washed with jeans dark enough to not show any effect on them.
New red items I soak in soapy water first to see if they bleed. If they do, I make up a load of other red items to go with it. I have one tablecloth that still bleeds after several washes. I don’t know where it all comes from.
years ago, i accidentally washed an illegal substance that was in a pocket of my jeans. i did let it dry out and it was o.k. but, i didnt make that mistake twice. lol
i no longer need to check pockets for it but my sons taught me that i should check theirs. poor frog may he/she rip…
