Re yesterday… I set up “Daddy’s Home” scripts and comps for Gary (while I watch TV), but only after they’ve been written already. I need total concentration when I actually write the dialog, believe it or not.. It uses a different part of the brain to do that I think..
I pretty much ditto Jane, but I have a number of “special occaision” dresses (all of which were designed and sewn by me) I enjoy that I get complements when I wear those even a decade or two afterwards. I have a 30 year old raincoat that I still like too (metallic snakeskin with black velvet collar and red lining AND coiled snakes of sterling for buttons).
I rarely wear dresses, nice slacks and sweaters in winter, shorts in summer, capri’s for work in summer. I have some dresses I wear for special things, but I prefer slacks.
I just realized, since I was answering this from work, that’s where my “mind set” was. But heck, anywhere else, I wear jeans and sweatshrts in winter and shorts, tank tops or tshirts in summer. That is when I am most comfortable! :-D
@Beviek, thanks! I love all the special clothes I’ve made for myself. Two of my 4 children are recently divorced and may be married again soon so I see nothing wrong with rewearing a gown or cocktail dress that I already wore. I go to extreme measures to create special things (even my SCA garb have special things).

I like summer. I’ll let you figure out why, Tony. The hotter the summer the better.

When my wife asks which dress I like best on her, I stall until I can figure out which one SHE likes best and then go with that one.

Try this: “You are so hot, you make that dress look good.”

Shorts, sleeveless T, sunglasses and rubber slippers. Guess where I live.
