I had to call my son last night and he answered on the first ring…he told me he was just heading to the phone to call me…we talked about the tragedy, and how it was going to effect that school and community…both of us wondering how someone could do such a thing…as a new father, he was anxious about how to protect his new son once he is of the age to go to school…I simply cant seem to understand how the one place we send our beloved little ones to – in order for them to learn, and grow and which should be the safest place other than home or church can be… is now the place where we are afraid for them to go to…I see more home schooling in the offing…and possilby teaching them via a live feed over the ’net…I can only continue to pray for that community…
Youngest lives at home, he gets hugged and told I love you everyday. Oldest is hugged everytime we are together, and over the phone, always told I love you.
I can’t even fathom the pain those people are going through! I can’t even fathom how these things even happen, and to young children now? Oh God! Help this world please.
Yesterday I hugged him hard and today was the same. As the mother of a 7yr old, in a public school, my heart aches for these families. They have suffered every parents worst nightmare.

They have released the names of the victims. Those little children were only 6 and 7 years old.
