Love that the kids are growing up with a positive male influence in their daily life. As a mom, I was at home with my children until they started school and then I went to work. Yes having a dad that comes home every night and is involved with the children is great but having them depend on Dad to fix lunch, drop off and pick up from school, be there on a sick day is good. Moms have had this to themselves for a LONG time and now it is Dads turn.Love this comic.
If they do a good job of it and enjoy it, why not? Assuming the wife makes a decent living and enjoys her job too (in other words, whatever works!) I’m 75 and enjoy being retired, though I’d go back to work if I could just do enough of my old design and engineering to enjoy a few more of the luxuries I had when working, without loosing my SSA.
Yep! Got it. My son-in-law was a stay at home dad when they had my grandson. He’ll be a stay at home dad again later this year for the same reason. Another grandson on the way. Unfortunately, it’s not a “work at home” gig. It’s just cheaper than trying to pay daycare for 2. Especially when one is an infant.

We need those men that think stay-at-home moms have it easy to do this.

I had no idea he works and sure didn’t realize he watches the kid.
