Do you eat dandelions?

The dandelions and I have a deal…. I don’t eat them, and they don’t eat me.

What? They canceled the Jersey Shore? But we just went swimming there last week!

Most certainly not. I don’t eat weeds.

Never tried them before.

I used to pick them for Cuddles Cockatoo (she loved them) but had to keep telling landscapers not to use weed killers.

Never tried dandelions, but I’m game. And to be honest, if we ever used weed killer around here, I’d be left with bare ground.

Oh my YES! The young tender leaves before the flowers appear. They are superb with a hot BACON (BACON Fellow Baby, does that change your mind any?) dressing and just slightly warmed wilted leaves.

It’s a wasted trip, Fellow Baby. Nobody said anything about locking horns with no weeds. It’s a waste of perfectly good bacon.

Fellow Baby, not even for a cut of 14 thousand gold bars locked safely away in a bank in Clermont?

Fellow Baby, I’ll take the gold and the bacon, but don’t even think of plating those weeds.

One person’s ground cover is another person’s weeds. I’ve always tried to keep the front yard compatible with neighbors and the rear yard just to pleas myself.
