Hubby and I are both retired; he was an IT auditor and I worked for an insurance company and then a hospital. Now I teach part-time and goof off the rest.
Tony, Thanks for the shout out to Dry! I had many jobs (from bank teller and lab worker at Spork’s age to Designer/Drafter in AutoCAD when I retired).
.For Flossie, and any others who did not know her, Dry is a lovely person who frequently shared comments on GoComics and now (for unknown reasons) has been kicked off the forum. I plan to write on Monday (because I think this site has minimal if any personnel on duty weekends) to moderatorgocomics.com telling them that I believe the ban was an error and Dry has to my knowledge never posted any offensive material. I recommend that others do the same..
She once confided that (like me) Daddy’s Home was one of her first stops when visiting here (to answer the question).
I have been a post secondary student, dark room tech., bartender, courier, and had several other jobs; but I’ve always been an artist through most of those years.
I started out bussing, then waiting tables. I’ve worked fixing computer monitor problems and delivering computer parts in the late 80’s. Then I worked as a personal assistant for a real estate appraiser for several years. I was a bank teller while working for my AAS in Sign language interpreting. Did that for a while and now I help the hubby run our car salvage and sales business.Wow, that’s a lot for a chick in her 40’s…I started working full time at 15. Have absolutely no idea what will come next..Hey Dry……looks like the powers that be pushed the wrong button. Dumb @$$#$!! Till it all gets straightened out……..The waaaaiting is the hardest part :-)
IMudd, Bev, et al….As I said above….if you use the “contact” link….
it sends a message to customer support …
In my experience, when it comes to forum problems, like banning or trolls….they will usually tell you the help ticket is closed, and suggest you e-mail directly:
I just wanted to let you know that Dry really appreciates your support. She wants to thank beviek, DAZZ, Tony Rubino, Doctor Toon, Susan Sunshine, icky mudd and jkiss for their support. Hopefully all of your messages will bring her back soon.

I’m sure she enjoys the messages (Hi Dry!), but if we really want to free her, we all have to write to GoComics…. they don’t read all the forums.
The contact link on any page reaches Gcomics support….and I’ve already sent them a message.
But as I recall, they’ll just forward it to the mods who actually decide.
I finally found the direct address, buried in my e-mail…. and I plan to write them directly, too: moderator@gocomics.com
(duh.. I should been able to figure that out…)
