I guess star burgers must be tricky to make.Took Peter so long he missed the 4th by a whole week.
Or maybe it took him that long to gather the stars and grind them up.That must be really hard.Where do you get stars? The only ones I ever see are way up out of reach. Not even my rainbow duster will reach them.
BTW… a slight digression…if you ever see rainbow dusters for sale, only buy one if it’s cheap….or maybe if it’s pretty, and you need a duster anyway.Just don’t expect to dust any rainbows with them. They’re way too short.
As for hot dog or hamburger…almost always hamburger.Except every so often a hot dog at Costco…a quarter pound all beef foot-long, with a soft drink, for $1.50?How can you refuse?
@Tony“Hotdog or hamburger?”One of each, please, toasted buns for both, lots of sides, and a big slice of pie (ah, forget it, just give me half the pie. I’d be going back for seconds anyway).
Well, you could have both in one samwitch…. Go to the deli department and get them to slice you some baloney about 3/4 -1" thick. Then grill it. I love mine with swiss cheese and chili, mustard, ketchup, and mayo…oh, and onions, lots of onions.
Of course a hamburger isn’t ham…it was named after the city of Hamburg…. either Hamburg, Germany or Hamburg New York. The name antecedent is disputed, but it was most probably an American culinary invention.
There are approximately 1.56789 million claimants to the title of “hamburger inventor” … OK, so I made up that number… anyway lots…and no known provenance in either city.Chances are someone named it that because of the sausage already called a Frankfurter… (which, AFAIK, bears no resemblance to any actual German sausage.)
Due to folk etymology, the hamburger sandwich became known as a “burger,” and we now have cheeseburgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers, etc…. I’m guessing you expect a turkey burger to contain some turkey… or a tofu burger NOT to contain beef….so why wouldn’t I expect the star burgers to be made of stars?(And with all the dieting going on these days, I expect such “light” burgers to become popular.)
BTW… what the heck would you call a burger made of ground ham?Its name has already been appropriated.
Dang it, first watermelon at Ollie and Quentin, and now, Star Burgers and Hot Dogs here! Cripes, a lady with Acid Reflux SHOULD NOT BE EATING this late at night, and now I AM CRAVING all 3 of these! Guess I will go to bed hungry! :-(

See? The package says “Rainbow Duster.”
The handle does telescope a bit… but even extended, it’s only a few feet long.

It depends on who’s cooking.

No to hotdogs if they are all beef. They have to be pork as do the spare ribs.

Should’ve used (white) bratwurst for the white stripes in the flag.

orWe have both; propane on upper deck, charcoal with propane ignition on lower.
Use propane more often, unless we have a large crowd; then we fire up both…
