There is “growing up” and then there is becoming an adult. I have a son about whom we jokingly say, “He was born an adult”, because he has always acted like one. About my other sons, well, they were children, they grew up, and then at various times the became adults.

No; in jest. Or digest. Take your (tooth)pick.
Growing up? Where’s the fun in that?

My wife and I do that. Only she’s a lousy shot, so I have to go diving for it. Which makes her laugh, so that’s a win.

Mind your business, mom. What a father and son do amongst themselves is not your concern! Lol!

I wonder – do they train for “Throwing and Catching the Beads – Mardi gras New Orleans 2023”?

When my father was young his parents came home to find him up on the kitchen counter in just his briefs eating a raw steak playing Tarzan

No, nothing at all wrong with dad playing “Table Dancer” with his young son – using popcorn instead of dollar bills.
