brilliant guilt trip

I was on a jury where half thought he was guilty, half didn’t. We found him not guilty and 3 members of the other party’ s relatives tried to attack us. Had to have a police escort to our cars. Not fun…

But I got out of jury duty because I had to pick up the kids take care of them the last time was because I have medical needs

There are ways to get out of it Pete. I doubt they’d put me on a jury. First I have hearing issues and might miss something in the testimony. Second I am very opinionated and stubborn.

I’ve been called many times but have never sat on a jury. I remember one time we were sitting in the courtroom waiting to go through the selection process. The Judge gave us a brief overview of the case and then excused himself. He returned a while later and thanked us for our service because the defendant in the case took a plea deal AND plea deals were accepted by 2 defendants in related cases. A pretty good day for the DA’s office. They got 3 perps with one jury pool.

I got called to sit in a case. When I went to report the next day It was dismissed.

One of the juries I was on had an old fart who obviously had nothing better to do and hung us up for an extra day. And this was 2 days before Christmas.

Don’t be a slinker….or stinker!

The people who complain the most about “stupid” jury verdicts are the ones who try the hardest to get out of serving

I think that person used to be a Drill Sargeant.
