Last flight I was on the pilot came on to say, “Yes we were struck by lightning. Yes the plane is made to handle that.” The lightning struck the wing right outside my window seat. It was pretty awesome, especially the way it wrapped around the wing. OK, I thought it was cool, it really was. A lot of people thought it was scary. I figured, we’re still flying, so why worry?
