My dachshund and I walk a nature trail that is for walkers, runners, and bicyclists. The rule for bicyclists is to say “On Your Left” when passing someone, walker, jogger, or another bicyclists on the left as a courtesy. This way you know they are coming up behind you and they don’t startle you or that you don’t turn around in front of them. Unfortunately, only .0001 let you know. The others zip right past like they own the trail. I’m always worried about my dog venturing over into their path and either will get hit or killed or the bicyclists will go flying off his bike and get badly injured. I don’t think they think that will happen to them but there is always a first!!!
