Thats a big “DUD!!!”

DUD is the sound of your teeth falling on the floor.

There used to be a candy called “Banana Chews” that my parents would use to pull loose teeth. Chew it a couple of times to make it somewhat malleable, (Its default state was somewhere around 6-month-old Starburst), bite down hard, and yank your mouth open. Afterward, we got to eat the (bloody) banana chew! Great times. Great times…

Mu Uncle coped with his niece’s faskinating (to me) loose tooth by giving me a large piece of licorice. And then had to try & not fall to pieces when I presented him with a bloody, licorice-coated tooth!!! I often wonder how he handled it when my cousin started losing his baby teeth. But, Aunt J was a nurse, so maybe SHE took care of all that??? Never thought to ask any of them.

Such a devil…..he even admits it!

For the first time… I am going to protest the drawing!

Milk Duds were named because they were expected to be perfectly round… but they kept coming out duds (failures) to that shape.

So… Back To The Drawing Board! That perfectly round treat is a dud to Duds! ;)

Milk Dud heaven, dental hell … add beer for an interesting hangover …!

and then, of course, one can drop them on the theater floor and watch people dealing with this sticky thing on their shoe.
