Cheer up. There’s good news in the world today. It looks like “Lester Gooch” has been freed from the insane asylum, and Lil Abner will be starting a Fearless Fosdick arc. For those of you too young to know, that’s Al Capp’s own lampoon of Dick Tracy. Lil Abner appears on www.comics.com

Why is the dog so happy on Diet’s jacket? Is he about to bite the midget arm coming out from Diet’s left side?

Hmmm… Are the panels out of sequence, or should Dick Tracy be closing his eyes before Diet clearly shows which numbers are being pressed to enter a Top Secret facility? Diet even has his punching finger ready to go!

I’m sooooo excited……. (Yawn, snore…..) This “apex” has only taken a month. I wonder what Locher does for excitement in the real world.

“Oh, but anyway, Toto, we’re home. Home! And this is my room, and you’re all here. And I’m not gonna leave here ever, ever again, because I love you all, and - oh, Auntie Em - there’s no place like home!”

Boy was I wrong! I figured we’d find something out by Tuesday and here we are Thursday and Tracy’s eyes will be closed all the way to Sunday!

Maybe we can have a flashback to Shirl(ey) in and out of the cuffs!
