Sydney, A HUGE thank you for that link. And we should thank Drex Files too. It took me a moment to realize how to navigate around the pages, then I sat and read them all up to today. I was only 9 when I first read those strips, but I am so amazed at how distinctly I remember reading about Moon Valley. Every day I would wait with great anticipation the arrival of the Daily newspaper so I could grab the comics page. It sure is nice to see hands, and all anatomy for that matter, drawn in proper proportions and perspective. That’s not even to mention REAL police work. I cannot imagine how the current DT writers/authors can see the old strips and still produce what we now have. This is not to disrespect Locher, it is more pointing out that they, the writers/artists, are direspecting what was, I am sure for many of us, our favorite strip. Add to that the point that he (Locher) had the privilege of studying along side the master himself. All I can do at this point is make that comment that our dear friend always left us with…………
