As has been previously noted, good luck bringing that gun through security, onto another nation’s soil, buddy.

Also: Why does our embassy look like a cheap welfare hotel? And what is that strange, bipedal creature with the long, upturned tail strolling down the sidewalk?

And why those oddly drawn hands in panel 1? Check those fingers out.

“What trouble could there be at an embassy Gala”? This is Tracyland, Tess, remember?

‘Morning Flight Suit, I believe that’s supposed to be an umbrella, but I like your explanation much better.

“A phantom kangaroo” you don’t mean it’s “The ghost who hops”?

That building is actually a remodeled movie theater from the 1930’s. It was sold to the nation of Cambastan by its previous owner, the ambassador of the Republic of Elbonia.

Just got done watching Warren Beatty’s DT movie for the first time. Not sure how I feel about it, but the biggest question which springs to mind is this: How-come Breathless Mahoney never has a microphone when she’s singing on stage?

Well, Tess looks entirely different again. Wonder if we will see endless panels of the embassy?

I think Bob Hope wrote an autobiography titled Have Tux, Will Travel. Then Richard Boone starred in a TV series titled “Have Gun, Will Travel”. Tracy has them both covered today. No pun intended. He’s even “traveling” to the soil of a foreign country. Hope calling Cambastan a “foreign country” is not considered an insult, Flight Suit. I don’t want to say anything that would jeopardize that loan we’ll be asking your country for.

What embassy? All I see is an old cathedral radio, sitting on a table with a little toy soldier in front of it. It’s hard to find tubes for them these days, but if you can find the tubes you can keep them working….

well in fantasy land… embassy’s are where ever they want and tracy can pack heat everywhere… and story lines can move along at the break neck pace of molasses flowing in January in northern Minnesota…

That sidewalk is kinda deserted for a place where there’ll be lots of people attending a soiree…

What’s it matter if Tracy’s packing heat? You know he won’t be allowed to use it.

Flight Suit, That’s the building that (later) will be repeatedly called a “PALACE”. It’s “choc-a-bloc” on the side walk. It’s not the sort of place the Real Estate Agents could describe by saying : “as you enter it provides a sense of welcome”.

In some non-Monarchial countries “palace” is often the word used to describe a house of “ill-repute”.

Remind me, never to have Brozman do the “art” for the brochure on a building development.

Then you can put your best dollar on the table, you won’t be seeing Tracy going through Cambastan Security with that Gun - but later, somehow you’ll be seeing him inside. Sort of like those huge, “wheeled” Robots (Traze-R, Magnum Force - 2008) negotiating stairways and relatively small human doors. You never see how they do it. Those impossible events only happen “off camera”.

Flightsuit, I am surprised you are not familiar with the Republic of Elbonia, which borders on Cambastan. Their main national export is mud.

I hope the guy on the sidewalk isn’t planning to enter the embassy, since he’s more than twice the height of the doors around the corner.

Is there a comics charge for showing too many fingers per strip?

Or perhaps the strip takes place in an alternative universe where humans do not have opposable thumbs? That would explain all the awkward phone holding, tying a tie with your index finger and pinkie.

We, of the opposable thumbs, could rule that universe within a week!

VistaBill, back then in the Cage Tracy had his Taser Gun on his Wrist Geenee. But the Author “forgot”, and I guess hoped we did too (?)

That’s a real sharp obsevation Anthony 2816. I sure had a good chuckle

That was Richard Boone? Oh my goodness! I just recently saw his 1977 film, “The Last Dinosaur.” Well worth watching if you ever have the chance, because Boone seems to be in an alcohol or drug-induced stupor for the entire movie. It is really one of the strangest performances by a leading man that I have ever seen.
