You do have to scroll down a ways but it’s worth it to see how others could be handling this strip.
I enjoyed Joe Staton’s work years ago on a fun comic book called E-Man. While I wouldn’t associate his style with Gould’s work, the examples given at that site plainly show that Staton’s stuff sure beats this junk.
