For some reason panel #2 makes me think of the old Valspeak saying “Gag me with a spoon!” Maybe it’s because Locher hasn’t had a thought since that term was current. Speaking of panel #2, how many fingers does Thick have on his right hand? And Thick’s face looks more like Reagan or Brezhnev than anyone else.

Well at least, for once, we don’t have inane dialogue to make fun of.

He may crack Tracy’s jaw! Wait, that would be a good thing.

Why didn’t Morass wrap the chain around Thick’s neck? Even for Locher, it’s a new level of ineptness to show a serial killer who can’t master his trade. You halfway expect his eleven victims to drop in and shout “Fooled ya!”

If Mordred does it right, he might fix Spacy’s nose.

Lack of dialogue is a vast improvement for the strip

Today’s strip is the best in years! No trash talk from either of them!

I alternate between shredded wheat and Cheerios for breakfast, and I always finish it, never leave any. Does that make me a cereal killer?

During the melee, Morass has skillfully used his chains to amputate all the fingers of Thick’s right hand. In the next episode, Morass will reattach those fingers onto Thick’s left hand which will then have eleven fingers! I can’t wait to see that!!

Maybe the missing 5th finger is “The Fickle Finger of Fate.”

In panel two, it looks like Mordred’s not so much trying to strangle Tracy as tie his mouth shut. Apparently even serial killers can only tolerate so much terrible dialog.

whew – all that pent up passion has left our lovers speechless and ready to roughhouse.

Everyone’s right about those missing digits in Thick’s hand! He and Morass have been stuck in this arc so long they decided they need a little finger food.

Good call about the repeated strips, captainzero and neonleon59. I think the Locher Mess Monster has set a new record for laziness.

Now everyone remember what Sam said about the Awacs Plane and Tracy having his Wrist Geenee turned on.

This coming Friday, Lizz will ask a question of Sam.

You will see once again, Locher will have forgotten what he wrote a few days earlier.

It is just like how this story at the start, went into repeat mode.

The excitement of this strip speeds up and shifts to low!

Shift into low? I looked ahead at the Comics Kingdom viewer. The coming week is the reverse order of the Sunday strip. Locher has slowed to the point that time now flows backward.

I am convinced Locher has been reading “us” and decided to jerk us around a little. This may be his way of “mooning” us. Obviously, the Trib doesn’t give a rat’s a**, as Locher is getting short, as they say in the service. As far as the sixth finger on Thick, that’s got a purpose, too!

The action! The suspense! I cant handle it! What will happen next?

Seriously, why hasnt Tracy slugged Mordred one or something? He looks like hes going down without a fight.

The “New Thick” is obviously a pacifist, to stay with the PC mood that seems to be in vogue. He used to carry as much stuff as Batman does, but unless Locher remembers what tools Thick is supposed to have (read that laser wrist geenie, .45 semi-auto), Thick ain’t gonna use them. Besides, he might hurt Mordred and I don’t think Mordred wants to play S&M right this moment.
