Now Tracy’s going in the ring! This gets better every day!

I like that the announcer is playing along, this is great!

So it’s just about a year since Dick Tracy escaped his greatest death trap, the mindfryingly poor writing and art that threatened to doom this classic strip. And now, here we are. I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m happy.

My money is on the Mole winning by K.O.! :>) Thank You Team Tracy!

This is like the perfect comic strip.

With Jerry King’s helpful commentating, Tracy enters the squared circle. Mole is distracted from his Throat Trouble; Thunderchild turns on Tracy and is about to beat him down when Mole attacks again, and with Mole’s help, Tracy cuffs the heel and hustles him out of the ring. The audience thinks it’s all part of the show.

Thunderchild is going to break the Mole’s neck and kill him in the ring TOMORROW and DT and Sam will be left to pick up the pieces. RIP Mole.

The Mole seems to be holding his own, Fuzzy Wuzzy. Now, let’s sit back and gleefully wait another day to see how Team Tracy does against the big bully Thunderbelly. I, for one, cannot WAIT!

@jumbobrainI’ll second that! I just started reading DT again near the end of the run of bad scripts and worse art. It has been well and truly salvaged and is now a delight to read.

Tracy will have to wait for the tag from Mole.

The guy with the mustache reminds me of Sir Kane. Probably just a coincidence.

So is Tracy wearing tights under the famous trench coat?

I just read this strip in the Houston Chronical ! The pen is mightier than the paint brush . All hail pen & ink ! Go get him Tracy - "and it’s a step over toe-hold… and Thunderthud is down for the count ! "

I wonder if after this the Mole will have a career as a professional wrestler, raising money for his families. He’d make a rather unusual face, but I’d bet audiences would love him, especially considering why he’s wrestling.

This comic has DEFINITELY improved since the new writers took over. Bringing back Chester Gould’s successful cast was a great idea.

Love DT, love this story, love the comments.

I can’t see the Mole becoming a wrestler (even after whooping Thunderchild).But maybe a manager, working ringside?

I think the new team is doing a great job, and I like this plot. All I can complain about, and it’s a regular complaint from many, is the GoComics color.Today is too much: I just can’t stand DT in that mustard yellow.

I think this is the best storyline so far from the current creative team.
