@VistaBillVista Bill, I’m shocked – you don’t really look like Walter Brennan!By the way, I’ve always wondered which movie that picture of Walter Brennan was from. Had to be one of his later films, like “Support Your Local Sheriff.”Good to finally see the real you.

Arthur Curry was the head of the city’s aquarium, heh? Maybe he supplied a barracuda or two illegally to the Mr. Crime lair, and had to be rubbed out—maybe by Blaze Rize, or Abner Kadaver?— because he knew too much and might sing?

It makes me so happy that the head of the aquarium is Aquaman. I guess it makes sense completely.

What has become of me! and to top it off they killed aquaman as well?!?!? and to confirm what i had posted yesterday, vitamin said it right here.. being a western movie sidekick paid the bills, lol! tho i was a bit taken aback by tracy calling him “flintheart” instead of vitamin.. which he usually callshim. oh and by the way…tracy is looking rather SPRY for someone who’s had his blood drained for the last 3 days or so (in strip time of course).. i dont think they would have let him out of the hospital THAT quickly regardless of the case or who called him on it

Very nice Aquaman reference. The DC universe has been reworked so many times that I wonder if the Arthur Curry backstory still exists..Nice to see Tracy in action so quickly but I also found it a bit jarring to see Tracy calling Vitamin by his last name. When we last saw the two together on 2/20, Dick called him by his first nam, as he usually does. Maybe Dick is cranky from the blood loss. lol

Aquaman, eh? Give me the TRUE King of the Seven Seas, none other than Namor McKenzie, the one, true savage Sub-Mariner!!!!

by the way, i’m OFFICIALLY throwing my name in for a nod in the strip.. maybe joe can be listening to the “Top 40 Countdown” on the radio and at the end the host gives his “sign off” and says “And that’s the American Top 40.. I’m Tim Sullivan, have a great week everyone!” lol! heck, i’ll even send mike and joe a recent pic so it oculd maybe be a live broadcast at some mall tess is at buying bullets or whatever LOL

Arthur Curry is head of the Aquarium. I wonder how many people got the inside joke. "Arthur Curry " was the surface world name of Aquaman in DC comics. Very clever!

Congrats, VB, very cool to now be a part of Tracy’s history…As others have noticed, Tracy calling Vitamin by his surname is uncharacteristic of him.

Let me add a third to the suggestion yesterday on that 6 week cap thing. I realize we now live in a short attention span world, but I think readers of this strip can follow something for a couple months or so, particularly if the story, character, and situations remain interesting. Truncating the last arc with Stiletta just seems wrong and forces the artists to do a disservice to the readers. Who made this rule??

the only problem wiht the idea of tracy making a holographic image of the deceased is that the deceased is already on a gurney with the sheet over his head and being loaded onto the ambulance by the coroner.

OK. Now we have to find out who killed Aquaman.

And all this time I thought Vista’s Walter Brennan icon was from “The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band”

How does Tracy know that “someone aimed to keep him quiet”? At this point, it’s a body in a parking lot. It could have been a robbery gone bad. Tracy doesn’t know that there is anything going on to keep quiet about, does he? Hmmm.

Nice inside joke: The late Mr Curry is none other than Aquaman, in the DC Universe.
