Dare we suppose that Tracy and team have noticed that poster on the side of the bus and have it under surveillance? Or has Jumbler out-dueled the MCU yet again?
It seems that he has hacked into the bus company as well. I noticed that it has baggage compartments. This means that it is likely an intercity bus line.
Jumbler sure seems to have access to a lot of inside information and connections. He was able to hack TMS and substitute drawings. He knew everything about the layout of the Medieval Faire and about Reeve. He knew about the pharmacy remodel, the books in the wall, and the old safe door. He knew how to access the internal structure of the Jewelry Store building. Now he has the authority to make arrangements to have a certain bus repaired and put back in service…
Hmmm…I wonder what the Mayor is doing this morning? It seems to me that only the city would have access to all of those building internals and to bus maintenance…
Jumbler is obviously very skilled at hacking computers and evading the law. He seems like a “Catch Me if You Can” type who the FBI might be willing to hire in exchange for immunity from prosecution. Not gonna happen, but an idea that popped in my mind.
This type of criminal evokes a certain level of respect. Jumbler reminds me of the Ocean movies – clever, elaborately planned heists, with a scrupulous non-violence code (although theft of property is violence in a general sense).
I GOT IT!!! The reason Jumbler is able to stay one step ahead of Team Tracy and able to hack the TMS systems, transit authority systems etc…. HE IS THE BROTHER OF LT TEEVO OUT FOR REVENGE! lol :)
We still know very little about the Jumbler. What motivates his crimes and why? Why the strange costume? What are his connections? Is he nuts or just extremely clever?
The biggest mystery in this arc is The Jumbler himself.
Shoot-em-up action to deductive reasoning… Gould would be proud. I am loving the new batch of Rogue Gallery villains. I’m still waiting for news on the Moon Maid sightings (Go get ’em, Honey!) and the return of Blackjack (humming “Tubthumper” now)
MoParMitch, contd. I have more than a hunch that the head clown shot himself in the foot for posting a Holocaust photo, which even GoComics said took first prize for bad taste. Thus, the origin of the S.I.T.O.A.N.M.I. schtick. When Otto renamed him “Still Da Putz”, he hit the nail on the head.

As always, everything comes down to the word Jumble.

Odds are that the MCU has an eye on that bus.

This is the third time Jumbler is trying to slip through Tracy’s fingers. Will the third time be the charm for Tracy?

They can’t nail the Jumbler on this latest one, can they? No one saw him and I doubt they marked the money. Thumbs up on the Gene Shalit look-alike.

I knew that was advertising money well spent.
Sardonis over 11 years ago
I really doubt that that is the ONLY bus in the city with that Jumble advertisement on it.

Jumbler is extremely arrogant which usually leads to a person’s downfall, eventually.

Haven’t posted much lately, but I’ve enjoyed the Jumbler story. Jumble is a daily ritual for me, and seeing it featured like this has been much fun.

It’s my guess that over a dozen regulars hit GoComics immediately about that one!
