Meanwhile …

Everything seems to sync up well enough, with the Tracy portion of the crossover chronologically first.

Still, was hoping the event would be a little more in-depth.

Maybe the Sunday strips will cross over as well.

Tracy and Sam are on their way to the comic book auction, but from reading Funky Winkerbean,we already know that nothing happened there.

Gweedo, I think this is Joe deliberately trying (and succeeding) to make a Westview (=Funky) character look like a native Westviewan; i.e., more in the style of Batiuk!

Now Tracy and Sam can get back to the hometown and get to work on the unresolved crime spree rampaging there (a.k.a. dangling threads)!

As many of you know, Mike Curtis likes to put in references to his favorite music as well as “flesh out” the Tracyverse by giving the different characters favorite music, books, and comics. Well Shelley also has some favorites, and she is saddened today to hear of the death of Edgar W. Froese the founder of the German electronic music group Tangerine Dream. We have been listening to the following clip here at the Pleger household for weeks now. It is one of Shelley’s favorite “work music” pieces.RIP Edgar W. Froese. Thank you for your music.
