Just so long as BB-Eyes doesn’t tell Blaze to see Pouch again! Now it looks like a three-ring circus: Jimmy seeking to hide the swag; the Blackhearts seeking it for their nefarious purposes; and Tracy and the MCU representing the Law (where is the FBI?)—all at the same time….

Ok I have several questions.

How does this qualify as a copycat of the 1924 crime?

What does this have to do with taking the car itself down a side tunnel? As I said that is more Clue Club then this.

Personally I think Team Tracy dropped the ball a bit with the back story as it only tangentally relates.

It’s kind of sad when a 1970s cartoon is a better fit then this book.

too cute poem PQ77jr. … (grin) If it was you that asked; our farm is in Fayette county in south western Pennsylvania. Just a couple of miles from the almost heaven West Virginia state line, If you would Google map it we are one half off a mile off of Rt. 119 headed due west on Fallen Timbers Road. If you’d look at the birds eye view the farm is easy to identify I have a pound 20 feet from the house my neighbor to the west across the meadow has a round pool and our neighbor across the street (to the north has a round pool as well. Street view it and it is 245. AND it paid for & I’m so thankful.. Praise God forever! .… about this bunch of outlaws can we say that there is honor among-st thieves … or will they start killing one another for that gold?

I enjoyed the back story, but now I’m glad to get back to the modern caper.

Is Blaze also reading a copy of “Robbing the Rails”? If so, where did she get a copy. There were four that Owen knew about: He has one, one’s in the Library of Congress, one’s in a RR museum, and one was stolen 10 years ago from the City Library. Did Pouch somehow know where the stolen copy was located?

So is BB Eyes gonna drop the dime on Jimmy Choo Shooz?

NS, considering that Jimmy owes this month’s “payment”, and BB Eyes gave him an extension, I don’t see him dropping a dime on Jimmy. Fact of the matter, the Blackhearts are now looking to BB Eyes to collect that money, and they might not be too happy that BB Eyes let him extend, plus know about a crime that they didn’t.

If you look close at the marks on either side of Owen’s mouth, you will see that they are railroad tracks.

Using Robbing the Rails as a “time travel” device was an interesting approach. Instead of seeing Choo Shooz rob the rails, we were told a tale by Cormac (McCarthy? The Pulitzer Prize winning author spins a great yarn.). Who could help Tracy find that third tunnel? Blaze needs some help, too. BB-Eyes has a clew. No, Blaze, you don’t look like Dick Tracy, although he and Sam once got matching crew-cuts. The MCU and Blackhearts after the same thief. Who’ll find him first? .Tracy’s boat is too small to haul the gold. Wonder what boat Jimmy floats.

Very much appreciated. .For me, Ray Toler’s scenic design for “Vieux Carré” struck the perfect balance. Too many accoutrements, and the set becomes cluttered. A lack of trust in the audience’s imagination could lead to erring on the side of a busy set, which can draw the eye away from the actors, rather than immerse us an artfully designed place. Too minimalist, and the audience strains to be transported, in this case, to the dilapidated boarding house Williams describes. Too vague a sense of place can hinder the vanishing of the theatre, hinder the full immersion into the world created by the playwright. Bravo, Ray, on your latest success. Good luck with the “Jeff Award.”

Puzz, I cannot think of any of Tracy’s crooks that are mental giants……… except maybe Blackjack.

Have I actually spotted an unusual slip-up from our beloved artist Joe Staton? I’m quite surprised that no one else saw it first or am I just being a prize idiot? In the final panel BB-Eyes’ left eye is scarred. Normally it’s his right eye that’s scarred. Can anyone please tell me how and when that happened to him and how he came to be called “BB-Eyes” in the first place? ____________________

So are they saying that the gold is still at the bottom of the lake? I have a hard time believing that happened and it isn’t common knowledge in a city which would have regular expeditions (like Clive Cussler’s NUMA – real or fictional versions) searching for the sunken treasure.

I thought for sure Pouch would have the information on who did the railroad heist since he always seems to know everything. I wonder where he gets his information from in the first place? Of course he could’ve been paid to be quiet also. Looks like BB-Eyes has figured it out anyway.
