Looks like my crystal ball is still functioning very well. I thought it needs new batteries. :)The question now is whether Blaze will get out of there or have a nice talk with T-Bolt.
I’m very much enjoying this story. And I like that Notta may escape prison when it’s all over. A classic and intriguing character like Mrs, Chin Chillar deserves a better fate than to disappear into a penitentiary. Besides, who would take care of Purdy? I personally would love to see Notta in a recurring role. Love having her back!

The ballots for nominations from comics professionals are due a week from today (Monday the 9th). Pros can nominate up to 5 candidates in each category. The final ballot should then be out about the middle of July for votes to be received by the end of August (approximately).
.Good morning guys!.I especially like today’s strip. Almost endless possibilities! .Nice touch Avenger09! .Good morning 22ph, Gweedo, avenger09, et al.
Cute, nice subtle magazine title for Blaze to be reading…and I THOUGHT she knew t-bolt was an undercover cop, but I guess I was wrong. My big question tho is that YESTERDAY sam visited her in jail, and now shes out in public doing laundry at a Laundromat?!? Really?!?!
Maybe Blaze will try and recruit T-Bolt to help out Notta… or help her get RID of Notta!
I think Blaze wants out her relationship with Notta. Strange, Blaze’s IQ as a villain started diminishing when she started being ordered around by Panda.
Lee may suspect that Blaze has information on Bribery—and through Notta, perhaps she does. Before Bribery’s disappearance, Notta seemed pretty close to Bribery.
October 8, 2015 was also very relevant to the current situation. Lizz told the Chief, “It’s about that Blackheart operative, Blaze Rize. Lee Ebony thought she might be turned. She could clear up a lot of questions about Bribery and Mr. Crime.”
Gweedo – It’s legal here !!! – Murray said, yesterdayAngling for intimate moments which I’m pretty sure she hasn’t got yet and may never, at least with Notta who always has an ulterior <smallsubterior motive.
It’s strongly implied that there have been intimate moments, but Notta always has an ulterior motive for everything, in my opinion.
Jim in CT said, yesterdayThe police went to a lot of work to create T-Bolt’s identity so that she’d check out when Bribery first hired her, so I imagine a lot of crooks (B-B Eyes, DoubleUp and others) know her as somebody to be trusted, and her false rep has spread so she can learn about other crimes and gangs.
I do think a lot of crooks trust her, and she was in a sort of position of authority with Mr. Bribery’s minions, since she was working out of his office.
What better venue for coming clean than the laundromat at night? I can imagine Blaze striking up a conversation with T-Bolt and spilling her guts. Lee can then relay the intel to Sam back at HQ. A chance encounter that leads to a big break.Meanwhile, what of Tracy and the Asp? There’s always action when the Asp is on the job….
Pequod said, yesterday[T-Bolt] has no knowledge of Notta’s connection to Blaze, yet Blaze considers T-Bolt a criminal she can confide in.
I’m not sure whether T-bolt knews of Blaze’s connection to Blaze. They sort of discussed it, but without names. It’s possible that T-Bolt was aware of who the packages were being sent to, or not.
August 3, 2015Blaze: I’ve got a package to deliver. I’m starting to hate this part of the job.T-Bolt: Why?Blaze: The person I deliver to makes it difficult.T-Bolt: Need some muscle?Blaze: No, not that. When I’m there, it reminds me how much I want my life back.
A rich Bee-yotch like Notta should absolutely be having washing machinery on the premises.
It’s a matter of priorities, I suppose. She has a hot tub, but no washer and dryer. At my place, it’s the opposite. I’m not sure her current hideout is quite as fancy as the old one, though it’s certainly a “fleabag.”
With all this following we need Six panels a day !
Yeah, but that’s not going to happen. Interestingly, my beat sheets seem to show that Mike tends to write in 6-panel beats (two days per topic), with the exception of some Sundays which are one-day beats. That’s been kind of a rule with this current story so far.
I said yesterday I wondered if Blaze would run into someone in the Laundromat. I didn’t expect it to be T-Bolt though. We know Blaze isn’t happy with how Notta treats her but we don’t know if she really wants to leave. Lots of women stay with their abuser because they’re afraid of the alternative. So, it’ll be interesting to see who starts the conversation first and whether Blaze believes T-Bolt is someone she can talk to.
@Neil Wick…. I’m not sure her current hideout is quite as fancy as the old one, though it’s certainly a “fleabag.”
Oops! That was supposed to say “certainly not a fleabag”! I have no idea why she doesn’t have laundry facilities at her place, but it’s good for the plot.

Blaze’s choice of reading material also serves as a multi-level pun today.

Story flow hasn’t felt quite so naturalistic since the acclaimed Nitrates/Stiletta collision.
Liking where this is headed.

Uh oh…..sometimes surprise meetings lead to disaster. Hope this one does a breakthrough instead.

Could somebody with the necessary tech chops create an animation of “Matty Squared” with “Max Headroom” lines flowing in the background?
AnyFace over 8 years ago
And couldn’t Mr. Bribery spring for a “Virtual Kitty” to keep “Matty Squared” company?

Is that a pay phone on wall? I didn’t think those still existed in our universe or Dick Tracy’s!
