Honeymoon, three shades of blue, now goes to see Pop-Pop

Bellowthon spews words of hate, she wishes this would stop.

It is not just to ease her mind, for Mysta is blue too

Pop-Pop calmly nods his head, knows exactly what to do.

“See our flag there in the breeze, its colors more than one?

To wipe away the red and blue would mean that we were done.”

Our strength is our diversity, from past sins we must learn

It’s not enough to wave our flag, each citizen must earn

The privilege of freedom. We welcome those who seek

To make with us a better day, the bold, the wise, the meek.

Give us your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free

Your tired, poor of every race, if peaceful they shall be.

Look to see a lifted lamp does honor to our shore

Good morning to all.

Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day to all (one day early). As Lakota activist Bill Means has been quoted as saying, the native peoples of the Americas “discovered Columbus, lost on our shores, sick, destitute, and wrapped in rags. We nourished him to health, and the rest is history.” Columbus really opened the door to the eventual European immigration to the new world on that October day in 1492. We are well-advised to remember the great diversity of people who built this new world into what it is today, for better or for worse. We need to do even better than our ancestor immigrants before us.

Phoenix and Vermont joined this year the several other jurisdictions who have chosen to honour the native people of this continent at this time of year.

Now that’s an odd saying to find inside a fortune chicken.

Nice strip and sentiment by team Tracy today. I only wish they’d thrown in a bit about how we’re also a nation of law abiding citizens and that every color of the people flag needs to conform to this nations laws, rules and regulations. ,

Agreed, avenger09.Chester Gould would have seen to it that was not overlooked.

Don’t forget that our system was designed in such a way that, ideally, unjust laws can be overturned.

For now, not knowing what they have done in the past nor what they plan to do in the future, we just have to trust Mike and Joe and know that B and S are really bad guys…(Yes, we know that S assaulted Coffee somehow, the only known crime associated with the two for now)

So I am guessing that this arc’s villain will be the ubiquitous Straw Man, and that Tracy already has the goods on him!

Words of wisdom from one Tracy to another. Here is where I would normally have dropped in a panel to remind us that Team Tracy has been developing Honeymoon into an essential character for some time now. I might have shared that great art from July 16, 2011, in which we see Honeymoon locked in the back of BB-Eyes’ van. She uses her Wrist Wizard to call Tracy, who reminds her that it is not a toy before she reveals her dire circumstances. Sadly, the unfortunate (temporary, I hope) changes at gocomics render this impossible. At least the increased character count allows for a short rhyme. Even this would have been impossible a few days ago, so here’s hoping for more positive changes.

Selfy appears to have poisoned Coffee Grounds. As others have surmised, the selfie stick may well double as a blow-gun. Bellowthon’s bill discriminates against Lunarians. The particulars have angered Tracy, while upsetting Honeymoon and Mysta. I’m quite comfortable calling Sefly and Bellowthon “bad guys.” That’s an easy call.

Been a loooong time since leaving a comment here. Not surprised not much has changed. Having recently lost nine officers in my new home of Dallas I thought I’d check in on thoughts concerning this wacky politition. Seems the Tracy community remains birds of a feather. And apparently it was a good day to check in as I see pequad hasn’t lost his magic touch. Ya’ll take care now.
