Nerve wracking when anything can be anything. Hard to be alert to all the possibilities when you may not know what some of them are.

If you must plan for anything it is like playing chess. The more possible moves you are prepared for, the less chance you will be caught unawares. The Chess Master of this story is whom? How many Chess Masters are playing this game?

Looking back to the misty fog of yesterday

Thought sure my D.T. comment count reached its peak during the Tracy-Kadaver fight. It’s good work when I can get it though !

You could cut the tension with a knife~!!

I haven’t finished my preliminary story map to date, yet. One thing I’m having trouble with is actually figuring out who is on the side of good and who is on the side of bad. Who is the enemy of whom? Some of the characters are obvious, but there are many whose status is rather mysterious.

The Spirit is suspicious of Perenelle (and we know Tracy doesn’t believe her story, either). Spirit already warned Doubleup to keep an eye on Mr. Carrion. The Dragon Lady is another potential bad character. If not for certain exemptions, she could be arrested.

The other two bidders are Tracy’s friends, so I’m not really expecting any “funny business” from them.

‘The Spirit’s’ reflection in panel #1 is oddly reminiscent of actor Shemp Howard.

Much as I appreciate the ‘Wrist Wizard’ technological upgrades, I’m sort of glad the boys have fallen back onto something more akin to the classic “Two-Way Wrist Radio” look, even if it was mostly just to tie into the high-end collectible replica sales.

If this was a Batman/Superman crossover story, at some point ‘The Spirit’ might need to disguise himself as ‘Dick Tracy’ …

… and vice-versa~!!

Too bad Punjab isn’t there; he could play some one-on-one with Am in the hotel gym.

Looks like Spirit’s room is a two-room suite. I’m not convinced his room is on the 28th floor, though – that would make him a bidder.

Who’s paying for all these hotel rooms? Or are they (Beverly Hills Cop Style) gonna walk the bill?

I guess Tracy was taking his coat off in panel #1 because he doesn’t have it on in panel #3. Let’s see tomorrow if it is still off.

Okay, fine; I’m mostly ready for the auction action.

But I still don’t know who the Fifth Bidder is. Has that issue been resolved?

Whatever.

Spirit and Tracy best be ready for any kind of action from anybody, and to prevent after-scams, or armored car hijackings….
