You know, I’m not going to feel sorry for anyone taken in by these crooks. You buy artifacts like this on the black market, you deserve to get burned. Other than the two bro/sis being escaped cons what crime is there? How is Tracy going to get involved? No doubt the buyer should know the whole scheme is illegitimate, other wise something like this would be sold on the open market, at auction, for HUGE $$$$. Since it isn’t, you’re either a fool, or a criminal yourself, buying stolen goods on the black market.

When Silver says “When do I meet the mark?” he’s really thinking "When can I plug you & keep all the mark’s money for me & Sprocket?’

Ahh, the game’s afoot! The Nitrates are ready, or so they say, and this elaborate (overly elaborate?) scam is ready to proceed. How much does Public Domain expect to extract from Bea Thorndike, and how will it come to him? Will Silver “The Expert” Nitrate demand payment in cash?! Surely, that would be a Red Flag?
